Here's a little taste of what the views from the Grand Canyon look like. Of course, it is impossible to convey what the canyon is like through a photo. Photos can zero in on details but to capture the feeling of its enormity, its colors, and how vast can't be adequately done. Our days there were a bit hazy, which didn't make for the very best photos either. So if you haven't been, put it on your list of places to see and take your own photos! At Desert View, you can see the river in the distance. Further west you can pinpoint where it would be but not see the water.
